My resutls on the 100 kupu (question) quiz

I think I did very good over all becuase I got 63/100! I dont really know much maori words and I was suprised that I got 63. This was a very fun quiz to do. Click on this link to do the quiz yourself.

Olympic values

We were learing about the 2020/21 tokyo olympic values which are, exelence, respect and friendship. To me friends ship means hanging out and having a good time.

The things I enjoy very much was making a poster about the 3 olympic vaules with my friends, Alex and Couper. I liked doing my golden polyline medal and working together.

It was stuggiling to find a good color to make my medal. It was coffusing when I was making the strap because I had done the outline and it filled in all of it so I had to resart.

The next time I do this I will add more detail into my badge and make more medals with silver and bronze. Put in the comments what you think it should have done differently.

Persuasive writing

We were learning about how to make a piece of persuasive writing about "is it important to be prepared in a natural disasdter.

I found it easy to polyline my decoration and add the background to my slide and write down the imfomation

I found it hard to get the infomation that I need for my persuasive writing from the get ready civil defence page.

Next time I will make my background less flashy and make my word more important. I will also do next time is make my font different becasue it was hard to read.

Earthquake animation

 We were learing about earthquakes and how they are caused and what you need to do in a earthquake.

I found it easy to draw everything I needed to add in.

I found it hard to think of ideas for my earthquake animation.

Next time i will make it longer and add more detail into it.

About me

I found it easy to polyline around the images.

I found it challenging to deside what I think best described me.

Next time I will polylines my images in better detail.

Camp reflection

This is my reflection about camp that the yr 6's went on.

The thing that I enjoyed about camp was kayaking in the lake.

The thing I hated most was the Burma trail at we did at night.

Next time I will decribe what I did at camp kaitawa in better detail 

Kayaking

I was learning about how to write a recount in detail with rich words.

I found it easy to write down my recount of what I did at Camp Kaitawa.

I found it challenging to add rich words because i'm not very good at writing intresting recounts.

Next ttime I will try to make my recount more intresting by adding more rich words and drecribe what I felt, smelt and tasted.

horotua animation

I am learning about the horotua waka most of our ansestors came on to New Zealand.

I found it easy to create the aniamtaion about the horotua waka when it hit the sand bar.

I found it hard to draw the waka especily witha glitchy mouse pad.

Next time I will add more slides or make it more detailed.

Triathalon

I was learning about how to write a discriptive recount.

I found it easy to write down everything in full detail.

I found it hard to remember what I did at the triathalon and describe what I saw,smelt and felt.

I enjoyed publishing it to a google slide and making it look fancy with different colours for the words and picking backgrounds. 

Next time I will choose a different baclground for my slides.

12 days of christmas

I am learning about the 12 days of Christmas and then making our own verson.

I found it easy to make backgrounds and then writing down what we had on out planning page.

I found it hard to make my own slide without everyone changing the font and removing my permision and keeping the same baclground without having it changed by the others.

Next time I will make somehing different and picking a different group to work with.

Mandala art

I am learning about how to draw Mandala art.

I found it easy to colour the square yellow and blue.

I found it hard to make the diamond shape and make all the lines to make the squares.

Next time I will make something easier than my diamond shape I did becasue it was pretty hard to make.

What Christmas means to me

We were writing a letter to The Gisborne Herald about what Christmas means to me and then making a animation about what we wrote.

I enjoyed writing what Christams means to me.

I found it hard to make a animtion because when I made it at first then after that it just broke so I just ended up do something with words about what I do for Christmas

Next time I will make a animtaion on goggle slides instead of scratch becasue slides would be easier then scratch becuase with scratch you make something basic and then you have to make sure everyhting resets to what it was at the start and with slides you can make something and then just go back to the start and watch it again.

Hawk

I am learning about one moment in time about a little squirrel and the hawk.

I found it easy to write about what the squirrel was doing and how it felt to be a squirrel being cashed be a hawk.

I found it hard to remember what what happening in the video so I could write it down in a story wiht talking.

Next time I will make my story longer and add more describing words.

Quote

I am learning about what people put online that could be fake like if they added a picture onto a picture that if different to what image they put on the picture.

I found it easy to pick what platform I would put my quote on.

I found it hard to design a image and find a quote.

Next time I will make my quote on slides or drawing because the platform I used wouldn't let me put images on so I couldn't put a picture of the person who said the quote on my image.

Fireworks

I am learning about fireworks and Artistic poems.

I found it easy to make my slide look cool because that is the easiest thing to do.

I found it hard to make a Artistic poem because I couldn't really FIREWORKS in to a poem.

Next time I will make my poepm a bit longer and make a different Artistic poem about fireworks.

Nga ahua/shapes

I am learning about shapes in maori.

I found it easy to copy the shapes to my slide.

I found it hard to spell them in maori but english was easy.

Next time I will add more shapes because that was not alot of shapes but good enough for now.

Im lost in a forest

I learnt what is real and what is fake. Like in the url box if it says g00gle or ggoogl3 then its a scam or if you get a call saying that your computer has a virus and they ask for your personal details then hand up or before you hand up cheak the phone number and cheak the real site for their phone number and if it dosn't match then hand up.

What did you enjoy maing me in a forest and making a funny little mole in the corner.

What was challenging thinking of what place I could be in becasue the one I choose before was space and that didn't work out.

What was easy getting a image of me and a mole and removing the background and changing the colour of my picture.

Next time I will do somthing better because a forest isn't really convincing because the ligthing of my picture was pretty bad
